ABRIDGED CONDITIONS OF PLAY - 2018

  1. Each player must be a financial member of a registered Golf Club and have a current Golf Australia Handicap.
  2. Each player must be a financial member of a Veteran or Lady Veterans Golf Club.
  3. At Proserpine and Mackay, priority will be given to players nominating for the 72 hole event. Players nominating for Proserpine only or Mackay only will be allocated places if there are vacancies.
  4. For each Proserpine and Mackay round, handicaps will be determined from the player’s GA Handicap on the day or days specified by the Tournament Committee, adjusted for the course Slope Rating. Where the Tournament Committee provides cards with a handicap pre-recorded, that handicap will be deemed to be the correct Playing Handicap for that round, otherwise the player is responsible for recording their correct Playing Handicap for the day on that course.
  5. Grades for the tournament will be allocated according to the player’s Playing Handicap for the first score round for the highest rank event played on these courses.
  6. Handicaps for the Sarina and Pioneer Valley Events will be the player’s GA Handicap on the previous day, as determined by the respective Match Committee, and adjusted for slope.
  7. The Rules of Golf shall apply and any local rules that are in operation at the time of the event.
  8. A player can win only one major trophy at each 18 or 36 hole event. The same rule applies separately to the 72 hole championship – a separate event – but does not affect trophy distributions in the 36/18 hole events played in conjunction.
  9. All fees must be paid with the Entry Form. No fees can be refunded after the close of nominations.
