Wintersun 72 hole Championships	Halliday Bay Wintersun Classic
Monday & Tuesday 2nd & 3rd August 2010 Monday & Tuesday 9th & 10th August 2010 Four round Championships - the prestige event of the Wintersun Carnival Tee times from 6:30 am Rounds 1 & 2 at Proserpine (field limit 220), Rounds 3 & 4 at Mackay (field limit 230). Men: Single Stroke Women: Single Stableford Gross (Men only) and Nett events in three grades. Proserpine and Mackay are holding 36 hole and 18 hole events in conjunction with the Championships. Nomination for the Championships includes your entry in the 36 and 18 hole events. Players may nominate for Proserpine or Mackay only - refer to the Proserpine and Mackay events for detailed information.	Wednesday 4th August 2010 18 hole event at Halliday Bay Golf Course, Halliday Bay Resort, Seaforth Area approximately 30 minutes north of Mackay. Shotgun start 9:00 am, lunch included after 9 holes. Men: Single Stableford Women: Single Stableford Presentations will be held immediately after the field finishes. Limited to 80 players, preference to visitors, so all visitors should be assured of a game.
Proserpine 36 hole Wintersun Classic	Mackay 36 hole Wintersun Classic
Round 1 - Monday 2nd August 2010 Round 2 - Tuesday 3rd August 2010 Two round event (36 holes) at Proserpine Golf Club Morning and afternoon fields (2-tee start), morning field from 6:30 am. Men: Single Stroke Women: Single Stableford Gross (Men only) and Nett events in three grades, with a Golden Years event in conjunction (Men - over 75 years, Women - over 70). Round 1 and Round 2 18 hole gross and nett events are held in conjunction with the 36 hole event. Nomination for the Championships or the 36 hole event includes your entry in the 18 hole events. Food and drinks will be available during the day on Monday and Tuesday. The Presentation Luncheon on Tuesday (included in nomination) will be available continuously from 12:30 pm. An additional fee applies for non-playing guests at the luncheon. Presentations for the 2 rounds will be held at Proserpine on Tuesday at the conclusion of the day's competition. The Wintersun Presentation Dinner (included in nomination) will be held at Mackay Golf Club, 7:00 for 7:30 pm. Non-playing guests may attend for an additional fee. Presentations for the 2 rounds and the 72 hole Championships will be made at this function.
Sarina 18 hole Wintersun Classic	Pioneer Valley 18 hole Wintersun Classic
Thursday 5th August 2010 18 hole event at Sarina Golf Club, approximately 25 minutes south of Mackay. Morning field (2-tee start), from 7:30 am. Men: Single Stableford Women: Single Stableford A Trophy Presentation lunch will be held at the clubhouse after the field finishes (included in nomination). As this is a moderately hilly course, it is recommended that you book early if you require a motorised cart.	Friday 6th August 2010 18 hole event at Pioneer Valley Golf Club, Mirani approximately 40 minutes west of Mackay. Morning field (2-tee start), from 8:00 am. Men: Single Stableford Women Single: Stableford Nett event in three grades, with a Golden Years event in conjunction (Men - over 75 years, Women - over 70) A lunch (included in nomination) will be available after the round for early starters and at half time for later starters. Trophy Presentation will be held after the field finishes.
NOTE: Players nominating for all rounds of the 72 hole Wintersun Championship will receive priority in the draws (Proserpine and Mackay) over those nominating for only one or other of the Proserpine & Mackay 36 hole events. A start for players who nominate for only one of these events will only be allocated after all 72 hole nominations have been finalised. It should be said, however, that no visitor has yet missed out on a start at Mackay or Proserpine.
