Entry Information - City of Mackay Open Tournament 2012
for Amateurs and Professionals

Amateur Players

In 2012, the City of Mackay Open will be held from Thursday to Sunday, 12th to 15th July 2011 over four rounds.

Also included in the Tournament program will be a nine-hole Junior Pro-Am and a nine-hole Sponsors' Pro-Am, entry by invitation only, as well as clinics and community activities conducted by the Professionals.

Invitations will be issued to Sponsors, 100 Club members and other invitees prior to the event.

Players with an Australian Handicap wishing to play in the Open 72-hole Event should apply on the Entry Form which will be available prior to the event.  A handicap limit will apply, and a ballot may be applied if nominations exceed available places.

Members not able to play in the 72-hole event, may nominate to play in the Teams Aggregate Stableford events on Thursday and/or Friday subject to availability of places in the field. A handicap limit and/or ballot may apply.

Entry Forms for the Members' Amateur 18-hole Single Stableford events to be held in conjunction on Saturday and Sunday will be available prior to the event.

The Conditions of Play and other details will be available from the Club-house or by contacting the Secretary-Manager closer to the event.

Note that to ensure a place in the field, all nominations must be made on the correct entry form and forwarded with the appropriate entry fee to reach the Tournament Committee by the advertised date.  Late entries may be rejected.

PLEASE NOMINATE EARLY FOR ALL YOUR PREFERRED PLAYING OPTIONS IN THE TOURNAMENT SO THAT YOU DON'T RISK MISSING OUT!

 

Conditions of Play

The Conditions of Play - City of Mackay Open 2012 will be on display at the Mackay Golf Club prior to and during the Tournament.  A summary of the conditions is printed on the Entry Form.

Junior Pro-Am 9 holes Monday 9 July 2012, shotgun start at approximately 3:15 pm.
Junior player invitations will be arranged by the Junior Committee.

Day		 9 holes Tuesday 10 July 2012, shotgun start at 1:00 pm Professionals & Sponsors by invitation; golf clinic after.
Sponsors' Gala Dinner - Tuesday 10 July 2012, by invitation.

Teams Stableford		 18 hole Sponsor's representatives, Member Sponsors and Members who have an Australian handicap (a handicap limit may apply) - in conjunction with Round 1 or Round 2 - Team includes at least 1 Professional.
Members'
Daily Events		 18 hole, single stableford Rounds 3 & 4 - Members by prior nomination - Medley.
