Our team played in Scratch Matchplay in
Division 1 against teams from The
Willows and Rowes Bay. Division 1
winners were The Willows followed by
Rowes Bay 1 and then Mackay.
Being such a
young team up against some very low
handicappers was always going to be
a tough assignment, however the
Mackay team was gallant in defeat
and a credit to the club in the way
they conducted themselves on and off
the course. I’m sure with this
experience, we will be back in 2012
to make our mark again.
